My girls and some vintage inspired loveliness

So today i have been creating new presets for LR 4! I am a complete geek when it comes to this stuff and could quite easily spend an entire day playing with photo’s for no reason at all!

Obviously i needed some “victims” to test them out on mwahahaha. So in come THE best models i know, some flowers and my oldest daughter (youngest HATES having her photo taken but decided to sit for me too..BONUS!) Hope you like!

Lisa and family

Here are a few of my favourites from Lisa’s mini shoot, The lovely girls took a while to warm to the camera but we had fun in the end and i’m very pleased with the outcome. Thank you Lisa for your lovely words!

“Thank you Martine for the most beautiful images of my girls… With three year old twins and an eight year old it was never going to be an easy session! However, your patience, calm easy going nature, and informal style resulted in the most natural reflection of the girls and captured their personalities as they truly are! They make me smile every time I look at them!”

The funny lady

Hello! Wow its been so long, I have been a very busy girl lately so i thought i would say hello and show you what i have been up too!

On a very sunny day i went to Hayling Island and met up with Clare who had contacted me regarding some head-shots with a difference for her business and what can i say other than she is quite honestly the most hilarious person I’ve ever photographed and probably ever met! We had such a laugh.

Here are just a few images from the day, i hope you like them and please go and check out clare’s site, it has some beautiful things for the home and for christmas too.

Love. Love. Love.

Last month with days before kerrie and russ’s big day i received a rather frantic email from a girl I went to school with, asking if I could help out her brother and wife to be, their wedding photographer had fallen and broken her leg days before the wedding so was unable to shoot their day!… So after jumping at the chance to help and although not ideal, off I went with VERY little prep and a wide smile and guess what, it turned out to be the loveliest day ever! I was very grateful for such a warm and welcoming family, the house was a buzz of action and pretty much full to the brim, Dogs, Children and happy excited people, i felt honoured to be a part of it.

Thanks again Kerrie and Russ for letting me be a part of your day, i wish you a lifetime of smiles and happiness! And a massive thank you to Sarah from Peggy Button Images for second shooting on the day.

A sun kissed evening.

Yesterday i decided on an impromptu mini shoot with my girls and hubby down our local beach, we had lots of fun running around, picking flowers and throwing stones, i always feel incredibly fortunate to live by the sea. Here are a few pics, i am quite happy with the outcome as i have at last got my new camera, fortunately is starting to feel very comfortable in my hands!

I’m so glad as i was worried we wouldn’t get on!!
